UARC Campout This Weekend & Leafletting Thursdays

Dear friends,

We will be having our annual campout/retreat into the mountains.  It will be in the Wasatch/Cache National Forest, near Kamas, Utah.  It's a bit of a drive, and we will be carpooling.

  When:  Leave SLC 4pm on Friday, 5-Aug
         Return afternoon on Sunday, 7-Aug
  Who:  Anyone is welcome!
  Why:  To have fun and enjoy each other's company

Food will be provided for Breakfast and Dinner, but other food you'll be expected to provide yourselves.  Please bring a donation to cover expenses of about $5/day.

Carpools will leave my house at 4 pm on Friday; 529 N. Center St. (approx 160 W.) to the west of the Capitol.  I have a large 12 seater biodiesel van that's perfect for this sorta' thing.

If you can't come for both nights, come for just one night!  The more the merrier.  Bring swimming trunks.  Questions or concerns?  Call Eric at 560-8238.

ALSO:

Leafletting in front of the Gallivan Center has been immensely successful!  Thanks to all those who've come out to help!  We still need more help, though.  Tonight is the last Wednesday event, but Thursday's will continue throughout the month of August.  Please join us at the Northern corner of the Gallivan Center each Thursday at 9 pm to help.  The more people we have helping, the more entrances we can cover, and the more people will learn about veganism.
