PETA KFC Demo in Salt Lake City

Here's an event UARC will be helping PETA with next week.  Please attend if possible.

Hello! I'm writing to let you know about a demonstration taking place in your
area next week. 

As you may know, PETA is currently campaigning against KFC and asking them to
adopt some minimal animal welfare guidelines for the chickens who are raised
and killed for their restaurants. To learn more about the campaign, please

As part of this campaign, our KFC Campaign Coordinator, Ben Goldsmith, will be
coming to Salt Lake City to lead a demonstration on Wednesday, August 10th. We
hope that you will be able to come out and join him!

Here are the details of the demo:

  Wednesday, August 10th
  11:45 AM
  KFC: 3890 South State St
  Salt Lake City, UT

All leaflets, posters, and stickers needed for the demo will be provided, so
all you?ll need to bring is yourself, your friends and family. We need all the
help we can get for this demonstration. If you come to the demo and can bring
along one other person, we'll give you a free KFC bumper sticker. If you can
bring two or more people to the demo we'll give you a free PETA t-shirt!

We hope you can make time to attend this important demonstration and send a
strong message to KFC that their cruelty to animals will not be tolerated.
