Turkey Beaters Protest

Friends,

As I'm sure many of you have heard, there was an incident where 6 men were
charged with criminal mischief and a bunch of other crimes (excluding animal
abuse, of course) for bludgening hundreds of turkeys and even more of them
dying as a result of heart attacks.

Their court is set for this Tuesday, and we're planning on being outside the
courthouse with signs, to encourage the prosecutor to press charges for animal
cruelty.  We need as many people out there as possible.  Can some of you take
half the day off to drive there?  It's a two hour drive, and we'd have to leave
early in the morning on Tuesday.
