Vegfest 2006 - this Saturday - all day!

   Vegfest 2006! will be held all day from 10 am until 6 pm on Earth Day, April 22nd, at the Salt Lake City downtown library plaza. The intermountain west's largest vegetarian festival includes loads of delicious, free food and attractions for the whole family!

   Among Utah's most loved bands, the Vile Blue Shades, Incamera and Less than Never will perform their most popular hits.  There are bounce houses, a dunk tank, face painting, film screenings, a huge silent auction, the world's first veggie burger eating competition and much more!

   Speakers include Mayor Rocky Anderson, the world's first champion vegan bodybuilder Kenneth Williams, pro-skateboarder Charlie Thomas and best-selling author and family physician Joel Fuhrman, M.D., who will lead discussions based on his best-selling books:

   * 'DISEASE PROOF YOUR CHILD: Protecting Our Children's Future'
   * 'EAT TO LIVE: Achieve Superior Health & Longevity, Lose Weight, Prevent and Reverse Disease'

   Vegfest is 100% free and organized by students at the University of Utah.
