Connie Curnow brought to my attention that I had misread the results of HB 95:

  HB95 - Mike Noel's bill, the spay/ neuter voluntary income tax check off to
  help lower income people, DID PASS ... the vote was 22 to 6 !!!  It was around
  10 pm Wed night, the last night of the session...I was there!  Mike Noel
  amended it so that even if the Governor's flat tax is approved in a special
  session in May, it should still not be affected.

Sorry about the confusion.  This is good news!  Oh, and it was nice to see everyone at the potluck last night.  Good times had by all!
