Hi Everyone,

No email went out last Sunday.  So, since there's a few things this weekend that you might not know about, here's a mid-week update.


### CHING FARM DAY ###

UARC will be volunteering at the Ching Farm Animal Sanctuary (www.chingsanctuary.org) on Saturday.  Please consider joining us!  The more the merrier.

If you haven't yet been to the farm, it's a great opportunity to see first hand the animals lives which are being saved through the hard of your fellow animal liberationists.  Come to remember why we are vegan, and how these animals are affected by compassion and caring.

We will be meeting at Coffee Under the Bridge at 11:30 am to carpool down to the farm.  Please don't be late.  Come wearing boots and clothing that you don't mind getting muddy.  Bring an extra pair of shoes that you want to go home in in a plastic bag (the bag is for your dirty boots at the end of the day).  If you don't have boots, some will be available at the farm. - Ching Sanctuary cooking class at Jordan Landing Wild Oats (3736 W. Center Park Drive)

- 5:00 PM - SOAR weekly meeting


Monday, 27th
------------
- 7:00 PM - UARC Steering meeting at The Bridge (512 W. 200 S.).  All are welcome.
