### World Farmed Animals Day in Utah #######################
Dear friends of animals,
UARC is looking for 60 committed volunteers to join us for an important
demonstration on Monday, October 2 between 11:30AM and 1:30PM. October 2nd is
World farmed animals day, which brings to light the billions of animals who
live in sheer misery on factory farms and die bloody violent deaths.
The demonstration will be legal and peaceful. Volunteers must be prepared to be
punctual and commit the at least an hour to make the demonstration effective.
If you are able to commit, please contact me for details.
For animals,
Sean Diener

### EarthSave Event With Colin Campbell ####################
UVSC and BYU are bringing T. Colin Campbell (co-author of The China Study) to Utah next week for two lectures. Though not an official EarthSave event, his lectures may be of interest to EarthSave subscribers.
Respected nutrition and health researcher, Dr. T. Colin Campbell reveals the truth behind special interest groups, government entities and scientists that have taken Americans down a deadly path.
Drawing on the project findings in rural China, but going far beyond those findings, The China Study details the connection between nutrition and heart disease, diabetes and cancer. The report also examines the source of nutritional confusion produced by powerful lobbies, government entities, and opportunistic scientists. The New York Times has recognized the study (China-Oxford-Cornell Diet and Health Project) as the ?Grand Prix of epidemiology? and the ?most comprehensive large study ever undertaken of the relationship between diet and the risk of developing disease.?
Both lectures are the same, with the topic being "The Nutritional Effect is Profound AND Comprehensive". Copies of The China Study will be available at both lectures.
